The Governor’s New Clothes

Published by thelastmaninamerica at 5:39 am under Uncategorized Edit This

$150,000 could buy you a lot of advertising. $150,000 could pay for a lot of help to get the message out. But, as any teenage girl or hollywood diva would, the Republican national Committee decided that money would be best spent on clothes for VP nominee Sarah Palin.

If you were a supporter of the Republican party, or, more importantly, a contributor, is this how you’d want them spending the money? One donor gives an emphatic NO! The donor said, ”As a Republican Eagle and a maxed-out contributor, I’d like my money back - he can stil have my vote.”

But he shouldn’t be angry because once the election is over Governor Palin plans to dedicate the clothes to charity. So the contributor can be happy in knowing that even though the candidate he broke the bank for lost, even though the money he donated was used to by a new wardrobe for a hockey mom instead of on campaigning in Ohio and Pennsylvania and Virgina, despite all this, St. Jude’s might get a few hundred dollars. Hell, maybe even a thousand!
