T-Minus 2 Weeks Until Election Day
Tuesday, October 21st. We are just 2 weeks away from Election Day here in the United States of America; 2 weeks before we exercise our volition and discharge our suffrage on who we believe can run our beloved country.
I’ve been told again and again you must come down on one side or the other, you’re either going to choose Barack Obama or John McCain because they’re the only ones who stand a chance. But in truth they don’t want you to vote for one side or the other, they want you to vote for THEIR candidate. I have witnessed the polarization; living in über-liberal Seattle, I hear the people here look down upon Middle-Americans with such derision for not seeing things the way they do. But I know some who view those same liberals as nothing more than faggot-loving socialists who they ridicule for not having the same “moral values.”
Well, I’m proud to say I have no part in the partisan mind-set so prevalent in our country; I hate all parties equally. I received my ballot in the mail yesterday and did not vote along party lines. I voted for liberals and conservatives and independents (oh my!). Why? Because, like Barack Obama, I believe in spreading the wealth; in this case the wealth is my disdain for politicians
