A man on death row in the Ohio State Penitentiary says he cannot be put to death humanely because his veins are too hard to reach for lethal injection to be carried out.

22 years ago, Richard Cooey was sentenced to death for the rape and murder of two University of Akron students while on leave from the U.S Army. Since being imprisoned, he has gained some 70lbs. Cooey now stands at 5′7″ and weighs 267 pounds.

Of course the weight wasn’t intentionally packed on in hopes of avoiding execution; Cooey blames it on medication and lack of exercise. And, “Vein access,” he says “was an issue, even when I was in the service.”

Well that’s great Cooey, you fat sack of horse shit but I can think of two thick pulsating veins, one on either side of your neck, that would be perfect to take in the sweet drip of death. And hopefully it will be a little more humane than the repeated raping and beating to death of those two young ladies whose bodies you then mutilated once their lives had slipped away.
